Cookie Policy
Which cookies and storage this site uses, why, and how to change your choice. Last updated 23 September 2026.
1. The short version
Essential storage keeps the site working: remembering your cookie choice, your basket and your saved quotes. Nothing non-essential loads until you choose it in the banner, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser storage and reloading the site.
2. Essential cookies and storage
These are needed for the site to function. Under Irish and EU law they do not require consent.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| cd_consent | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every visit. | 12 months |
| cd_leadbar_dismissed_v1 | Remembers if you closed the enquiry bar so it does not keep reappearing. | Session / local storage |
| cd_saved_quotes | Stores quotes you saved on your own device so you can return to them. | Until you clear it |
| cd_basket | Keeps items in your basket while you browse the shop. | Until you check out or clear it |
| cd_attribution | Remembers how you first arrived at the site (for example a search or a link) so we can see which marketing works. | 90 days |
3. Third-party cookies
| Provider | Purpose | More |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Sets cookies during checkout for fraud prevention and to keep your payment secure. These are strictly necessary to take card payments. | stripe.com/privacy |
| Lovable Cloud | Hosting and database. May set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and sessions working. | lovable.dev/privacy |
4. Optional analytics
| Tool | Purpose | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Site analytics (first party) | Counts page visits and actions such as form submissions so we can see what is working. Only runs if you choose Accept all or Analytics only. | Active, consent required |
| Google Analytics 4 / Microsoft Clarity | Planned measurement tools. They are not active yet and will only ever load after you give consent. | Not active |
5. Managing your choice
When you first visit, the banner lets you choose Accept all, Analytics only or Essential only. To change your choice later, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies entirely through your browser settings; the site will still work, though saved quotes and your basket will be forgotten.
